The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Lubaga South Constituency, Musa Mbaziira, has intensified his grassroots mobilisation with a vigorous door-to-door campaign in Natete Parish aimed at strengthening his support base ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Mbaziira spent the day moving through homes and businesses in the parish, directly engaging residents and presenting his campaign message at their doorsteps.
He said the personalised approach gives voters the freedom to express their concerns and expectations.
He was accompanied by a team of local NRM leaders, including party councillor flag bearers led by Patrick Njuki, and the Natete Parish NRM leadership headed by Mr Ntanzi Steven.
Their presence signalled a united and coordinated party effort to secure victory in Lubaga South.
A notable stop on the trail was in Mbawo Zone, where Mbaziira addressed journalists. He said his interactions with residents had given him valuable insights into the daily struggles faced by the community.
“The door-to-door engagement has given me firsthand knowledge of the issues affecting our people,” Mbaziira said.
“Residents have been open about their challenges, and these concerns will form the backbone of my priorities once elected.”
Among the issues frequently raised were unemployment, poor road conditions, inadequate sanitation services, and limited support for youth and women-led initiatives.
Mbaziira assured voters that his campaign is anchored on practical solutions tailored to the needs of Lubaga South residents.
He reiterated that his leadership approach would be rooted in inclusivity, accountability, and community-centred development.
As the election season gathers momentum, Mbaziira’s grassroots strategy underscores the importance he places on sustained local engagement.
His team vowed to continue reaching every corner of the constituency to consolidate support and deliver a message of renewed commitment to the people.
